The reason for this issues seem to be that Yahoo are updating their servers and are using a new authentication system? It only affects Macs and it's only www.yahoo.com or news.yahoo.com. My initial plan was to pull together the bevy of emails I received and forwarded them to Yahoo once a week---I figured this would only last three weeks or so. The solution was to un-check the "Enforce Host Tag Search for CFS" on the hidden diagnostics page. They have a repository on the Pidgin site that works well. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact us again. I didn't change nothing and just came back about and it worked.
