Thanks! If i uncheck "DTS capable receiver" and "Dolby digital capable receiver" then the receiver allows for surround decoder customization, and i can get the full 7.1 ch audio. If you use straight on the XBOX, if there is 5.1ch then it will use 5.1ch out of your 7.1. a 5.1ch source = 5.1 output.
